An award winning photographer since my early teens, I began by employing traditional photographic techniques and learning in the darkroom how to process and manipulate my photos. Seeing the potential of digital photography, I was an early adopter of this new technology. I utilize the latest technology in my photography, including high-resolution Canon digital cameras, high quality studio strobes, HP high-quality archival photo printers, Wacom digital tablets, and the latest photo-editing software.

Photography can be beautiful and quite powerful. It can stir emotions with just a glance and capture an actual moment in time. One of my favorite aspects of the medium is collaboration with my clients. It is important for a photographer to understand what a client is looking for in an image and to have the technical ability to translate that vision into a photograph.  My approach to photography is both serious and light-hearted. I am serious about the quality of my photos and about meeting my client's needs, but I think that creating a special image should be fun.
